7-8 NC Reenactment at Fort Branch Civil War Site on the Roanoke River near Plymouth. Annual event with camps and demonstrations with battles each day. Parking fee.

14  KY  Lecture, “Col. Jesse Durbin Ward,” at the Clooney Center, 114 Bracken St, Augusta. 2 pm. Free.

14  VA  Bus tour, “Richmond’s Lost Battlefields,” meets at 3215 E Broad St, Richmond. 9 am-2 pm. Free. Reservations:

14-15    Civil War show, artifacts and other material for sale at the Richmond Raceway Complex in Richmond. 9 am-5 pm Saturday, 9 am-3 pm Sunday. $10/adult.

20  PA  “An Evening with the Painting,” a behind-the-scenes tour of the Gettysburg Cyclorama. 4:45 pm. $25/adult.

21-22  TN   Anniversary activities, “Battles for Chattanooga,” at various sites in Chattanooga. Many free, $10 admission to Point Park on Lookout Mountain.

21-22 LA Reenactment at Camp Moore Museum, 70640 Camp Moore Road, Tangipahoa. Camps and demonstrations open 9 am-4:30 pm both days. Battles each day. $5/adult.

29  VA  Lecture, “Virginians in Blue,” at the Sailor’s Creek Battlefield State Park near Rice. 1 pm. Free.
